Courtney A. H. Thompson
Courtney is an Associate at Fredrikson & Byron, focusing on trademark, copyright, anti-counterfeiting, licensing, marketing and brand management, and commercial agreements. Courtney uses her experience to develop and implement creative intellectual property strategies to address each client’s unique needs.
Lisa serves as Chief Financial Officer of Colle+McVoy. From the day-to-day details to the big picture stuff—like ensuring their employees enjoy a productive, financially rewarding workplace and their clients work with an efficient finance process—if it has to do with finances or infrastructure, Lisa is on it. Since joining Colle+McVoy in 2000, she has designed and maintained the sophisticated financial reporting and planning systems that enhance the company’s entrepreneurial and creative spirit.
Ryan C. Brauer
Ryan is a Shareholder in Fredrikson & Byron’s Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups. He combines over a decade of experience with deep and broad knowledge of securities and corporate transaction law to assist clients with completing a wide range of corporate finance transactions. Ryan represents publicly-traded companies and their boards on SEC reporting and compliance, corporate governance, strategic acquisitions, and financings.
Keith hails from Liverpool, England. He founded the Minneapolis-based agency McCracken Brooks and under his leadership, the agency was named U.S. Marketing ‘Agency of the Year’ three years in a row from 1991-1993. He is a principal at McCracken Advisory Partners, an investment banking firm that is focused on M&A for Advertising, Marketing Services and Media agencies. In 2002, Keith was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Marketing Agencies Association Worldwide.
John C. Pickerill
John is a Shareholder in Fredrikson & Byron’s Advertising, Marketing & Trademark Group, with a specific emphasis on social media legal issues. John assists clients with trademark planning, prosecution and enforcement, social media marketing planning and compliance, ad copy and sweepstakes/promotions compliance, industry agreements, dispute resolution, content licensing, and a wide range of copyright matters.
