QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • 2-3 yrs experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, XML, JSON, jQuery & other internet-based technologies
  • Knowledge and experience working with API's, Google Analytics & Facebook's OpenGraph
  • Experience with creating & interacting with database systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking hardware, protocols, & theories preferred
  • Experience working with WordPress, Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP both hardware & software disciplines preferred
  • Team-oriented & able to work in a flexible work environment
  • Ability to work established schedule & other hours as needed 

 
DUTIES:  
Responsible for programming, and development of the station/market internet initiatives (including websites) for 1500 ESPN, myTalk107.1 and KS95.

  • Design, develop, implement and test digital & web stand alone & database applications & technologies
  • Utilize various programming languages in creating new digital products
  • Troubleshoots & assists in technical issues related to the web-stream broadcast of each radio station as well as “podcasting” & “On Demand”
  • Collaboratively works with Designers and Front End Web Developer to maintain the integrity of the GUI, ensuring user experience is top priority
  • Works with Director of Digital Media, Sales Managers & Promotions Directors to develop unique online promotional & sales initiatives
  • Stays up to date on Social Media API’s & Facebook’s OpenGraph. Researches & experiments with creative uses
  • Interfaces with IS Dept in providing technical assistance to staff
  • Other duties as needed or assigned
