Description

Art Director needed to serve existing clients and help pitch new work in a growing, fun, and fast-paced agency environment. Skills should span a broadspectrum of advertising, marketing communications, and digital development. B2B experience a must.

 Responsibilities

- Concepts and design for a full range of communication tools, including web,digital display ads, print ads, collateral, direct mail, and social campaigns
- Develop concepts from pencil sketches to client-ready presentations in a collaborative environment
- Work with Creative Director and a dispersed account team to meet deadlines
- Creatively lead projects from conception to execution
- Contribute new ideas and drive creative exploration

Required skills
- 3–5 years of agency art direction experience
- A strong portfolio demonstrating campaign-driven work
- Ability to effectively connect messaging and creative briefs to visual design
- Multimedia experience and an ability to develop storyboards
- Ability to integrate print and digital campaigns
- Attention to detail in a multi-tasking environment
- Quick concepting skills from pencils to comps
- A high level of proficiency with Indesign, Photoshop & Illustrator (experience with Digital Publishing Suite a plus)
- Leadership skills with junior designers and the ability to communicate with a dispersed workforce
 
Education required
Bachelor’s degree or formal design training
 
Ideal candidates will also possess:
- Experience in healthcare, professional services, or technology
- Mobile development experience
- Interface design skills based on modern user-experience methods
- Understanding of digital development, and the potential within emerging technologies
