Summary:
Responsible for taking rough concepts/designs, creating more refined design solutions and executing final design solutions for various interactive media
Key Responsibilities:
-Produce creative, high quality artwork in a timely and cost effective manner.
-Integrates all creative work with the materials produced.
-Responsible for securing approval for all work from their Creative Director.
-Focuses efforts on the technical side of interactive media and the possibilities/limitations rich media offers to create innovative and disruptive communication materials.
-Technical resource for less experienced designers to assist them to quickly solve problems.
-Produces final assets necessary for Technology Department to code the project's final deliverable. This includes creating, coding, scripting of dynamic media (i.e. flash, Quicktime, etc.), creating, cutting, naming and compressing files.
-Assists in creating and documenting final web design parameters, style guides and visual standards
-Follows established work processes, works with all the creative disciplines on their team on a day to day basis.
-Works closely with Designers, Interactive Producers and Technologists to ensure visual solutions are completed within allotted scope of time, budget and technology.
-Contributes to the new business activities of the agency.
-Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System.
Requirements:
-Ability to listen and understand client feedback and feedback from internal critiques.
-A strong understanding of Typography, Color, Composition, Hierarchy and an understanding of how those need to work in developing on-brand, on-target solutions.
-Knowledge of and experience using multiple interactive technologies, their utilization and limitations.
-An understanding of time and motion design as it relates to the internet and a competency in animation, sequencing, sound and digital video.
-Able to produce multiple ideas and executions for any given project.
-Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
-Knowledge of Mac, Quark, Adobe, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Flash and related Mac creative programs.
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design preferred.
-1-3 years’ experience with interactive technologies and a thorough understanding of Interactive Design.
