The Speakers:

Nancy Burke
Nancy Burke, senior VP of Lee Hecht Harrison, is a senior career coach with 14 years helping individuals to find their best fit in the workplace, and helping organizations to put career planning and change systems in place. She has coached individuals at all levels – from the C-suite to individual contributors, of all ages – from entry level through retirees, and across virtually all industries and professions.

Nancy leverages her experience gained in HR at First Bank (now U.S. Bank), Pillsbury (now General Mills) and Jostens in coaching individuals for organization success. She has been a frequent speaker at professional associations on topics that include:
• Threats and Opportunities of an Aging Workforce
• Staying Marketable: The 4 R’s of keeping yourself employable
• Developing Resilience for a Changing World

Nancy has also been a speaker on the job market and job search for local media. In addition, she has been an adjunct instructor for the University of Minnesota and Metropolitan State University in Strategic Human Resource Management. Her volunteer activity has included significant involvement in adult literacy, where she has been president of the Minnesota Literacy Council, and on the boards of Laubach Literacy US, and Laubach Literacy International in Syracuse, New York. Nancy holds a masters degree in adult education with a focus in psychology from the University of Minnesota.

Camille Weas
Camille Weas, brings more than 14 years of industry experience to her role as recruiting manager at OLSON. With a rich background in human resources, Camille is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. She achieves this through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing practices and resources and developing new, creative recruiting strategies.

Strategies include the OLSON O-Tern internship program, for which Camille culls hundreds of candidates from around the country to compete for a select few roles, as well as high-level searches for agency leaders. Camille plays a critical role in ensuring OLSON is attracting the best possible talent from around the world. Camille’s experience comes from some of the largest agencies in Minneapolis and across the country, including Martin|Williams, Carmichael Lynch and Campbell Mithun.

Throughout her career, Camille has managed all functions of human resources, including employee benefits, human resources law, accounting, salary administration, training, performance management and career counseling. Wherever Camille has been, she has shown outstanding mastery of her craft and a love for the work she does. Outside of the office, Camille is an avid runner, mother of two and wife to a Minneapolis ad executive. Camille is active in her community and exhibits a passion for helping people both inside and outside of her professional life.
